CAERNARFON PROMENADE

Caernarfon Promenade was under rejuvenation and required a beautiful, hard-wearing surface that would be able to withstand a high volume of visitors as well as regular contact with salt water.

The Need:

As part of Caernarfon Castle's rejuvenation project, DekorGrip were chosen to supply an attractive and durable surface. There was the added challenge that it would regularly come into contact with salt water, meaning it had to withstand this as well as the many pedestrians that walk on it every day.

Solution:

DekorGrip Resin Bound was perfect for the job, due to its durability and aesthetics. Through close communication and planning, 3000m2 was delivered and laid within a very short timescale.

Summary:

With various uncommon challenges laid out for this project , DekorGrip's expertise and knowledge were used to work out the best solution for the job. DekorGrip worked closely with the contractors to ensure this project was completed to the highest standard. The site was such a success that it ended up winning the ICE 2015 Sustainability Award.
