A hard wearing yet aesthetically pleasing surface was needed for the newly built park and ride facility in Portsmouth.
The Need:

Being one of the first things visitors would see as they enter Portsmouth, it became crucial that Tipner Park and Ride would need to be aesthetically pleasing, however also extremely hardwearing due to the large amount of traffic it was expected to receive.

Solution:

Due to the needs of this project, DekorGrip's Resin Bound was chosen, using different colours in different zones. The contrasting blends were used to demarcate the pedestrian areas from the bus routes and car parks.

Summary:

The project proceeded smoothly without and major challenges, primarily due to the good relationship that DekorGrip had built up with the council and contractors on previous projects. The finished project gave a modern and stylish look, and provided all the necessary requirements previously stated.
